Giving Back to Our Community
Since our founding in 2008, Live Green has made a personal commitment to teach compassion and understanding by volunteering our time, technical expertise, and knowledge in a variety of community projects. As a proud Maryland-based company, we strongly believe in giving back to our community.
As a landscape contractor, we fundamentally believe in creating a better world for our neighbors. Our profession allows us the opportunity to practice our beliefs by constructing parks and similar outdoor spaces for the general public, as well as gardens and outdoor living spaces for residents.
We make it our mission to make an impact; it’s not enough to simply write a check. When selecting an initiative to support, Live Green seeks out organizations that will give us the opportunity to share our knowledge, time, and technical expertise with them.
Live Green has dedicated time, resources, and proceeds to respected organizations including The Ulman Foundation, The Boy Scouts of America, Thistle Farms (through St. John’s Episcopal Church), Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, and our local fire departments. Our team has educated students at local schools and youth organizations about the importance of the natural world and our relationship with it.
Do you know of a community project that would be a perfect fit for Live Green? Tell us about it! We’re always looking for new ways to give back!
